The Dental Hygiene Clinic at the Community College of Rhode Island provides professionally supervised dental cleaning to the public for FREE! Our goal at the clinic is to assist individuals to eliminate and prevent oral disease and maintain optimal oral health. The Dental Hygiene Clinic is a classroom/learning environment for student dental hygienists and operates during the academic year, September to May. Comprehensive and thorough dental hygiene treatment is provided under the supervision of a licensed dentist and dental hygienist. Clinic appointments are two hours long and some patients may need more than one visit to complete treatment. If multiple appointments are necessary to complete treatment, no additional fee is charged. Patients are welcome for dental hygiene treatment every 12 months after initial completion. Parking is available at no cost and the facility is accessible to patients using wheelchairs. Fees must be paid at the first appointment. We gladly accept personal checks and cash but regret we cannot accept credit cards or insurance plans. Website is available in multiple languages, choose “Select Language” at bottom of page.
The Rhode Island Public Health Institute’s mission is to promote community health and eliminate health disparities in Rhode Island and beyond.
