Office of Healthy Aging: As Rhode Island’s designated state unit on aging, they empower older Rhode Islanders (age 55+) and adults living with disabilities to age strong. Along with many partners, they connect you to information and resources in the community to help you live happily and healthfully. They advocate for laws, policies and investments that protect your rights and agency.
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) gives more people access to health insurance. Use the ACA's Health Insurance Marketplace to find health insurance options. These options can include medical, dental, vision, and more. Learn if you are eligible for coverage and enroll in a plan through the Marketplace on the website.
Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provide free or low-cost health coverage to millions of Americans, including some low-income people, families and children, pregnant women, the elderly, and people with disabilities. Some states have expanded their Medicaid programs to cover all people below certain income levels.

In affiliation with Migration & Refugee Services of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Catholic Charities of Providence-Office of Immigration and Refugee Services staff provides refugee resettlement services. The organization provides immigration legal services as a member agency of the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc.
Catholic Charities of Providence's Project Hope provides individuals and families with basic necessities such as food, rent, and medicine. In addition, immigration information, assistance, and representation is available for those who may need these services.
Free legal clinics for individuals facing homelessness, offered at Warm Center in Westerly, Smith Hill Library in Providence, and Save Haven in Woonsocket.

20 hours of FREE Environmental Health, Climate Change, and Community Preparedness Training. Will involve two hours per month of community work.
