Tri-County Community Action Agency was established under President Johnson’s “War on Poverty” and the passage of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964. We offer a broad range of services and programs to the communities of North Providence, Johnston, North Smithfield, Smithfield, Burrillville, and Gloucester to provide a helping hand to those in need and to build a foundation of self-sufficiency.
Westbay Community Action is a charitable organization serving the people of Kent County (Warwick, West Warwick, and East Greenwich). We help with food, utilities, health, safety, and education.
Provides assistance with SNAP, WIC, food pantries, utility assistance, unemployment/TDI, health care registration, free tax preparation services, vaccinations, low income housing applications, homeowner lead removal, adult education classes, ESL, career trainings for CNA and CDLs, job searches, and more.

Transitional homes for pregnant women experiencing homelessness or domestic violence. Also offers assistance with long term housing, food stamps, job placement, and other services.
Multiple services for veterans, including primary care, specialty services, mental health services, and more.
Transitional housing for homeless mothers and children- also offers childcare services, job training resources, and other support services. Must meet qualifications to apply.
